Indicative Fare Structure Released: Minimum ₹10, Monthly Pass at ₹800

Surat Metro Rail Limited has released the indicative fare structure for Phase 1 commercial operations, pending final notification from the Gujarat Government's Fare Fixation Committee closer to launch.

Indicative Fare Structure: • Minimum Fare (up to 2 km): ₹10 • Per km rate thereafter: ₹1.50 • Maximum Fare (end-to-end): approximately ₹45–50 • Smart Card Discount: 10% on all journeys

Pass Options: • Monthly Unlimited Pass: ₹800 (all lines) • Quarterly Pass: ₹2,100 • Student Pass: ₹400/month (with valid student ID) • Senior Citizen / PWD: 50% concession on passes • Corporate Bulk Pass: ₹650/employee/month

Single-journey tokens will be available at all 32 station Token Vending Machines (TVMs). The final fare notification will be issued by the State Government at least 15 days before the commercial launch date.
